Visiting hours are flexible and based on patient needs because the support of family and friends is important for healing. The nursing staff will help patients and their visitors create the most beneficial healing environment. We also respect the right of patients to limit visitors at any time.
- Children are welcome, if free of illness and supervised by an adult.
- Possible Restrictions - Visiting may be limited in Rehabilitation and Psychiatry, to benefit healing and recovery. The doctor or nurse will explain if this is necessary. On rare occasion, visitors may be restricted to immediate family members if there is widespread flu or respiratory illness in the community.

MeritCare does not have formal visiting hours. However, it is recommended that you visit between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Intensive Care Units
Immediate family only.
