Advanced Laser Technology
Our advanced laser technology provides excellent results in the treatment of a variety of skin conditions quickly and conveniently.
What conditions can laser technology treat?
How does the laser remove skin discolorations?
For vascular lesions, such as birthmarks and rosacea, the laser's heat seals and shrinks the precise blood vessels of the blemish. Over time, the body's natural processes will heal the area with fewer vessels and a more normal color. In cases of large or very dark blemishes, complete removal may not be achieved.
Removing pigmented lesions (freckles, age spots, etc.) and tattoos is slightly different. Short, concentrated beams of light penetrate the skin's surface and are absorbed by deeper cells containing the natural pigment or tattoo ink. These cells rupture and release the pigment or ink, which is then removed by the body. It should be noted that not all ink colors in a tattoo respond the same to the laser treatment. Darker colors have the best results, but lighter colors seem to respond poorly. Learn more about the treatment of birthmarks, skin blemishes and tattoos.
