Neonatal Transportation to MeritCare
MeritCare provides emergency transportation for babies in need of individualized neonatal intensive care. MeritCare's nationally certified neonatal transport nurses are specially trained to treat babies en route. Respiratory therapists also accompany and treat babies during transit.
Ground Transportation
MeritCare provides ground transportation by ambulance for babies who need specialized, intensive neonatal care.

All vehicles are medically configured and contain the equipment necessary to treat a critically ill patient while in transport, including oxygen, heart monitors, suction pumps, emergency drugs and other necessary equipment and age-specific supplies.
