It wears on you, affects your work, and compromises your daily quality of life. It's chronic back pain, and it's debilitating and frustrating. Fortunately, there are proven solutions for relief available at MeritCare.

Called LIFEBACKā„¢ Spine Programs, these scientifically engineered, evidence-based programs have been offered through MeritCare. They have proven extremely effective for non-surgical and post-operative patients with chronic or recurring back pain.

CARE

Results

Hundreds of MeritCare patients report these results one year after completing the LIFEBACK Lumbar I Program:

  • 70% reported pain reduction
  • 94% stopped or reduced physical therapy visits
  • 65% stopped or reduced medication usage
  • 93% improved/maintained quality of life
  • 94% improved/maintained home/work activity
  • 94% reported satisfaction with their recovery

This success stems from the LIFEBACK program approach and MeritCare's specially trained spine rehab therapists. The programs complement physical therapy and differ from other programs because they train you to master your own pain and manage your own functional recovery. After completing a LIFEBACK program, you have an individualized, at-home approach that empowers you to regain your quality of life.

"This program has an impressive track record. It has helped people avoid surgery, decrease their use of therapy services and most important of all, improve their quality of life."
