Medical Services
Successfully dealing with diabetes requires a wide range of medical support that spans a lifetime. What you need at age 25, for instance, will likely be different from what you need at 45 or 75. No matter what your age, you can be assured that MeritCare will be there each step of the way, providing the care and services you need. We offer three types of medical services:
Diagnostic Services
If you've recently been diagnosed with diabetes or you've experienced symptoms but have not yet been diagnosed, you will benefit from diagnostic services. These services help pinpoint the type of diabetes you have, determine the most appropriate treatment and determine the treatment for diabetic complications that may already exist.
Ongoing Medical Management
As you probably know, diabetes is different for everyone. With your input, our health care team will determine your individual needs and design a personalized management plan.
Prompt Consultation
In the months and years to come, there may be times when you have signs or symptoms that need immediate medical attention. It is important for you to know that we can promptly get you in to see a physician, nurse or dietitian, if problems have developed. And, when you have questions about your management plan, please call. We are available for consultation.
