Frequently Asked Questions
Update 1.26.04
What software do I need to view the webcast?
Real Player is required to view the webcast. Visit the event page for more information and to
download the player appropriate for your system. RealOne Player (for Windows 98+ or other
newer systems) is preferred. RealPlayer 8 (for Windows 95 or other older systems) is also
supported.
How can I tell if I have Real Player on my machine already?
Visit the event page and watch the pre-event video. It features interviews with the doctors
performing the procedure and it will open in Real Player. If you're not able to watch the pre-event
video, you'll need to use the links on the event page to download Real Player.
How long will it take to download RealPlayer?
It will depend upon your connection speed. If you're dialing in with a modem, allow 30-60
minutes to install the RealPlayer. Faster connection speeds will experience shorter download
times.
Do I have to pay for Real Player?
No. The free, basic Real Player is all that's required for viewing the webcast.
I have an older computer. Will I even be able to watch the webcast?
System requirements for the webcast are available on the event page. Visit the site in advance to
be sure your system meets the basic system requirements.
I can see the player window and the slides but the there's no video. What's
wrong?
You do not have Real Player installed on your computer. Use the links on the event page to
download the appropriate player for your machine.
