Students: Get Your Hands on Healthcare
Doctors and nurses aren't the only ones working in healthcare. You don't even have to work in a hospital!
Want to save lives? How about a degree in engineering? Sound strange? Engineering graduates design technology used every day to save lives.
Want to prep for surgery? How about a degree in child development & family science? Seem odd? These graduates prepare children for surgery by talking with them about what to expect.
On April 7, 2003, North Dakota State University and MeritCare partnered to offer at Get Your Hands on Healthcare - an event offering students a unique look at the variety of health-related career opportunities and careers that impact healthcare available in our region. Students took part in hand on activities, met with healthcare and college professionals to discuss careers and watched MeritCare's second live, surgical webcast. Look for photos from the event the week of April 14.
If you missed the live webcast on April 7, an archive version is now available.
