MeritCare guestconnect

MeritCare is pleased to provide guestconnect, a free wireless Internet service for patients and visitors at the downtown campus in Fargo, N.D.

Wireless Internet Access

MeritCare's guestconnect service is open to visitors and patients. You are welcome to bring your own portable computer with WiFi support. It should be automatically found if you are using Windows XP. You do not need any passwords or keys to connect. Cell phones operate on a different type of network and are not supported. Many PDA devices do utilize WiFi for connectivity. Support Services for guestconnect

While MeritCare is unable to provide one-on-one support for this service, Guest Services may be able to provide guides to connecting or answer your questions. Additional computers with Internet access are found in the Consumer Resource Center.

Wireless Internet Locations

Wireless Internet access is available in all areas of the north wing, including lobbies, waiting areas and patient rooms, the Day Unit, Cardiology, Cardiovascular Diagnostics, cath lab and Consumer Health Resource Center.
