E-mail a Patient

Please Note: Your e-mail is like a postcard and will be viewed by the MeritCare associates who print and deliver it. With this in mind, please refrain from sending confidential information. We cannot deliver patient e-mail to patients in our emergency room, patients having outpatient procedures, those having diagnostic testing or to patients who have chosen not to be listed in our hospital directory.












Patient e-mail greetings will be printed, folded and delivered three times daily Monday-Friday and two times daily on Saturdays and Sundays at both MeritCare Hospital locations. You do not need to know which hospital a patient is in to send a e-mail greeting. MeritCare staff will look up and deliver the message to the appropriate location.

There are a variety of reasons that your message may not be deliverable (e.g. the patient is not hospitalized at MeritCare, has gone home or has asked not to be listed in our directory). We will notify you that your message is not deliverable. However, to protect patient privacy, we will not be able to tell you why the message was not delivered.
