2005 Children's Miracle Network Celebration a Success!
The 2005 Children's Miracle Network Celebration (CMN) was held Saturday, June 4th 2005 from noon-10pm. Local segments were broadcast live from the Little Country Theater, Askanase Hall, North Dakota State University and MeritCare Children's Hospital, Fargo.
The 2005 Celebration gave us the opportunity to showcase Phase 1 of our Children's Hospital renovation and thank our donor's that made this renovation possible. With the support of our donor's we were able to turn our general pediatric unit and our pediatric intensive care unit into a child/family friendly environment. All rooms are private and are equipped with high tech medical equipment. To entertain our pediatric patients each room has a play station 2 and DVD player.
In 2005 we set an all time record of raising $530,465. Your support and involvement is greatly appreciated and helps to insure that the children of our region receive the highest quality of care in a safe and child/family friendly environment. Thanks to all of you that gave the gift of time and the gift of money that helped to make the 2005 Children's Miracle Network Celebration such a huge success.

John and Toni Watt of Casselton with their daughter and son Alec and host Robin Huebner. Alec was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October 2003 and successfully completed his treatment.
