Guest Services

  • Representatives from Guest Services will help make a hospital stay easier for patients and visitors. They are available to answer questions, solve problems, give directions, and more.
  • They provide information including city maps, bus routes and schedules, and where to find services close to the hospital such as laundromats, grocery stores, churches, restaurants, etc.
  • Guest Services representatives are found near the main entrances at F-M locations, or by calling (701) 234-5524 at the Downtown campus or (701) 280-4150 at the South University campus.

Pagers

Guest Services has pagers available for checkout by family members who need to leave the hospital or unit, but stay in contact with caregivers.

Lockers

Lockers are available on Main Street (near the main entrance) to store coats or other belongings. Guest Services can provide assistance with lockers.

Pass-Time Activities

Patients and visitors can find ways to pass the time at the hospital by contacting Guest Services, at (701) 234-5524, for books, videos and other activities available for checkout.

Chapel

Stamps, Mailbox and Newspapers

Stamps are available for purchase at the gift shop. A mailbox is located in the lobby of the Broadway Clinic near the drop-off area. Another mailbox is located near the cafeteria entrance. Newspapers are available at MeritCare Gifts and at the south hospital entrance.

Smoke-Free Environment

MeritCare has a responsibility to its patients, visitors and employees to provide a safe and healthy environment. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings and on the grounds surrounding our facilities.

Lost & Found

To check on a lost item, call Guest Services at (701) 234-5524, or stop by their desk in the main lobby. Found items are labeled, dated and stored for six (6) weeks (42 days). Unclaimed articles are discarded or donated, as appropriate.

Cash Machine

An Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) is located in the Prairie Mill Café on the lower level, south wing of the MeritCare Hospital.
