Why can't I find the baby I'm looking for?
So, you clicked on "Show Me The Baby" eager to see a fresh new face only to find that no babies matched
your search criteria. Before you get too disappointed, let's see if we can help you out.

The baby's name is misspelled. Perhaps in your eagerness to see the new
arrival you spelled the name incorrectly. Or perhaps the parents have chosen an unconventional spelling.
Whatever the case, we can help! Return to the search
page select the date on which the baby was born (be sure to remove
the name from the search box) and choose "Show Me the Baby." Or, choose "Show Me All the Babies" to see
all the babies born this month.

The parents chose not to post their baby. BassiNet is an optional service for parents and
their new arrivals. Before a baby is posted to BassiNet, parents must sign a consent form and have the baby's
picture taken by the nurses with our digital camera.

It's been more than two months since the baby was born. The new arrivals are posted to the MeritCare
Web site for two months. After that, they make way for new faces.

We're working on it. We understand that friends and family are eager to see the new bundle of joy and
we do our best to add our new arrivals as quickly as possible. It usually takes about two business days
(Monday through Friday) from the baby's birth to his/her debut on BassiNet. See
